Gfrörer Cooks in a Cabbage Patch
Request from our partner Miele: to present two modern appliances in an unusual way and make them appeal to the target market. Our idea: To get landowner and top chef Matthias Gfrörer on board as a spokesperson and celebrate his craft from the middle of a cabbage patch.
This resulted in an entertaining online special consisting of editorial content, video content and advertorials on feinschmecker.de.
Sustainability and healthy indulgence: This is precisely what Matthias Gfrörer’s restaurant Gutsküche Wulksfelde in northern Hamburg is all about – from vegetable farming and animal welfare to energy-saving methods of preparation. Every day, the passionate chef captivates people with top-quality dishes made from fresh, regional produce. Every step of the preparation and cooking process reflects his sense of environmental responsibility.
Gfrörer set up a special cooking studio to show us how it all works and tested the modern Miele induction hob in his cabbage patch. The special outdoor kitchen allows the top chef to harvest the freshest ingredients and prepare them straightaway. The film, which includes drone footage, took place on site while post-production of the four films took place in-house.
