THE CULINARY LIFESTYLE MAGAZINE FOR MILLENIALS
The trend guide FOODIE has a passion for culinary delights and the latest trends in its genes. Closely interlaced with its sister magazine DER FEINSCHMECKER, FOODIE embodies the independent voice of millennials with its urban look, direct language, and casual, critical, witty content.
Recipes featured in FOODIE reflect the culinary lives of its readers: sourced from places as far afield as Asia and the Levant, they celebrate the comeback of home cooking, grilling and DIY (fermenting, baking). FOODIE is the place to go for the latest recommendations for hot pubs and bars, wines, craft beers, coffee trends and drinks.
Culinary visionaries and start-ups shaking up the food scene are given a platform in FOODIE and major social issues like no waste, plant-based diets, organic food and resource conservation have all been addressed since its inception. The fascinating topical content is rounded off by the latest hardware for novice kitchens – FOODIE only brings the latest trends to the table.
THE WORLD OF FOODIE
The culinary trend guide FOODIE is published on a quarterly basis. Other content is also available on the FOODIE Instagram profile.
THE CULINARY TRENDGUIDE
Since joining the FOODIE team, I’ve primarily focused on the young, fresh culinary lifestyle scene, which is typically the birthplace of some of the latest exciting trends, where start-ups develop bold concepts and where it’s fun to indulge, always with a critical view on the origin of products. In order to fully immerse myself in this world, I’ve given culinary influencers, movers and shakers a platform in FOODIE. The magazine has enabled us to build a community of adventurous, fun-loving foodies with a strong commitment to major social issues such as animal welfare and sustainability that extends back to our very first issue. FOODIE reflects and promotes this spirit with its direct, approachable, fun, modern and urban look. We’re now planning on expanding our digital presence with live-streamed wine tastings and other great services.
The way I see it, the values held by foodies will shape the future. They have the power to decide how we will eat, drink and live.
